Mentor Rugby is now a Mentor High School Club team for both boys and girls! There will be an organizational meeting on Thursday 1/17 in C lecture of Mentor High School at 6:30pm. The wrestling team won 2 matches on Thursday night in their Greater Cleveland Conference opener! The Cards defeated Strongsville 60-15 and then Shaker Hts 78-6. The Mentor Boys Basketball teams continued their winning ways as the Cardinals protected “The Nest” with a program sweep over GCC foe Strongsville. The freshman team opened then evening with a come from behind 69-66 victory. The JV continued the winning evening with a 64-42 victory; Jeff Norwood led the JV team with 17 points.
