The girls track team are Division 1 State Runner Up.  Led by Head Coach Bob Berwald and assistants Jen Butterfield, Alex Ardo, Taylor Ballard, and Jordan Wilcox the Cardinals had a great Saturday at the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet at Jesse Owens Stadium at Ohio State University. Football stadium closure

Jerome T Osborne stadium will be closed to the public on Friday April 23 from 7am to 12pm for a private event.  This includes the track and field areas.  Please do not enter the stadium during these hours.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  All stadium areas will reopen at noon on Friday.

Boys basketball state information

Here is the information pertaining to this weekend’s state final 4 basketball games: The semifinal game will be played at 5pm Saturday 3/20 vs. Centerville, with a win the Cards will play in the state championship game Sunday 3/21 at 8:30pm.  Both games are played at the University of Dayton Arena. Boys tennis information meeting

Cardinals Improve to 11-0

The 2020-2021 season has caused the Mentor Boys Basketball team to face some scheduling adversity due to the ongoing global pandemic, Friday night allowed the team to take on a different form of adversity, a late start. Due to referee issues the game against against Lake County foe Willoughby South started about 40 minutes late.
