The Mentor Boys Basketball team extended their winning streak to 10 games with a hard fought 76-70 victory over the Medina Bees. In a battle between the top two teams in the Greater Cleveland Conference, the Cardinals were able to use a third quarter run and then withstood a Medina spurt in the last two minutes to push their conference record to 6-0. Mentor was led by seniors Steven Key II with 33 points, Jonah Waag with 20 points, Luke Chicone 13 points and Ian Kipp with 7. Junior Sean Collins also added 3 points in the victory. The Cardinals return to action Friday February 5 when they host the Willoughby South Rebels for a 7 pm tip-off.
